HERE’S A Look at the Impact We’ve Made with Our Partners:

We partnered with a community college in the Northeast to provide business advising for their small business training program. Through multiple program cohorts, we supported over 20 entrepreneurs in strengthening their business strategies, refining operations, and preparing for growth. Our role included one-on-one advising, group training, and tailored resources to help each business owner address their unique challenges. The program resulted in stronger business foundations, increased confidence among participants, and measurable progress toward sustainability and growth.

Since August 2023, we have been providing ongoing support to Detroit-based entrepreneurs through a competitive small business program.
To date, we have worked with 10 and counting small business owners, delivering tailored services designed to strengthen operations and prepare them for long-term growth.
Our work has included:
Marketing & Branding: Logo design, brand identity development, social media branding, and digital content creation
Technology: Website design, website audits, and search engine optimization (SEO)
Accounting & Financial Planning: QuickBooks setup and cleanup, basic bookkeeping, and financial projections
Business Consulting & Planning: Business plans, pitch decks, and growth strategy sessions
Through this initiative, we help entrepreneurs formalize their businesses, increase visibility, and build stronger business models to support long-term sustainability and success.

Since August 2024, we have been providing ongoing advising and evaluation support for a major small business training program in Miami. To date, we have guided nearly 100 small business owners through the program, helping them navigate challenges, strengthen their operations, and connect to valuable resources.
Our role includes:
Business Advising: One-on-one guidance to help entrepreneurs identify growth opportunities, solve operational challenges, and access resources.
Evaluation & Feedback: Designing and administering surveys at the start, during, and after the program (including 6-, 18-, and 30-month follow-ups), ensuring business owners’ voices are heard.
Program Improvement: Tracking submissions, analyzing results, and providing real-time updates to strengthen program delivery and participant outcomes.
Through this work, we ensure that small business owners not only receive training but also have the tools, support, and feedback mechanisms needed to make lasting progress beyond the classroom.

Webinars: Delivering targeted training for both English- and Spanish-speaking cohorts. Sessions include How to Write a Business Plan (covering market analysis, financials, and marketing strategy) and Planning Your Future (strategic planning and long-term goal setting tailored for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs).
Customized Workbooks: Developing a program-specific workbook with exercises, templates, and checklists to help participants retain and apply business planning concepts.
Individualized Consulting: Providing 1-on-1 support on business plans and marketing strategies, ensuring each entrepreneur receives tailored guidance for funding, launching, or scaling their business.
This ongoing partnership empowers minority and underrepresented business owners with the tools, resources, and confidence they need to move from concept to execution.

Since 2023, we have delivered a robust suite of services to help small business owners—primarily in the personal care and retail industries—strengthen and grow their businesses.
Our work has included:
Webinar Series: Three interactive sessions designed to equip entrepreneurs with the skills to run, brand, and grow their businesses. Topics included operations, HR, and financial management (Running Your Personal Care Business), brand development and marketing strategy (Building & Marketing Your Personal Care Brand), and scaling strategies such as hiring, customer service, and technology integration (Growing Your Personal Care Business).
Marketing Support: Conducted website and social media audits, providing tailored feedback and creating actionable marketing plans to enhance visibility.
1-on-1 Consulting: Offered personalized business strategy and operations support to address unique challenges and opportunities.
Writing Services: Assisted entrepreneurs in drafting and refining business plans, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with funding requirements.
This project empowered more than 60 entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies, and resources to build stronger foundations and achieve long-term growth.

We have partnered twice since 2023 to support a local two-day entrepreneurship summit designed to equip small business owners with practical tools for growth.
Our role included:
Workshops: Delivered interactive sessions on business fundamentals and growth strategies tailored to local entrepreneurs.
1-on-1 Technical Assistance: Provided personalized consulting during the summit, addressing topics such as business planning, marketing, and funding readiness.
Through these engagements, we’ve helped dozens of small business owners access hands-on training and individualized support, ensuring they left the summit with actionable steps to strengthen and scale their businesses.
