MAJOR Client Application for Services
Thank you for your interest in working with MAJOR, formerly known as Major Marketplace! Most people know us as an online marketplace and community for minority-owned businesses. Today, we are a one-stop shop for minority-owned businesses and our online marketplace and community are just two of the products/services we offer. Simply put, we are in the business of helping minority-owned businesses stay in business. We do this by providing advocacy and thought leadership, data and research, minority business development and technical assistance, and technology development.
This application will help us determine whether you are a right fit for our services. It will also help us determine exactly what kind of assistance you are looking for, and how we can best assist you.
Before you get started, please review our eligibility requirements to make sure you are MAJOR material.
Eligibility
In order to work with us, minority business owners and entrepreneurs must meet ALL of the following criteria.
1. Minority-Owned: MAJOR focuses on providing support to under resourced entrepreneurs and communities. With that said, businesses must be at least 51% owned by Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Native American individuals or persons of color.
2. Type of Business: Businesses can be for-profit or non-profit.
3. Business Stage: We serve business owners at every stage, from development to maturity.
4. Business Size: All businesses with less than $1M in business revenue over last 12 months are eligible.
5. Citizenship: Business owners do not need to be US citizens.
6. Language: All languages are welcome. Keep in mind, however, that at the moment, our team is fluent in English and Spanish.
7. Location: We accept applications from small businesses and non-profits located across the United States. The availability of services will vary depending on your location. Our full suite of services are currently offered in Miami, Philadelphia and DC. We will provide as much support as possible for applicants outside of these locations.
